In January 2016 Secure Windows had four employees. Since then, the company has grown to over 25 employees, with seven employees who are veterans. Secure Windows was founded by two Australian Army veterans, Peter Liston and Matthew Moseley. Peter was medically discharged in 2017 and now is the General Manager of the business and Matthew recently retired from the ADF to join as the HR Manager. Both Peter and Matthew served for 11 years as logistic officers and are intimate with the both the culture and unique characteristics of the ADF veteran.
Secure Windows utilises veterans’ skills and capabilities in areas beyond those that are Defence-related, offering a transitionary role with flexible work hours. Secure Windows will sponsor the 2018 ‘Prince’s Lead Your Own Business’ program for entrepreneurs within the Defence Force (Peter and Matthew are graduates of the program themselves). Peter and Matthew will provide instructional support with the goal of helping grow new small businesses, further increasing veteran employment.
