Her dedication to advancing her skills was evident when Thales Australia sponsored her to pursue a Master of Science in Guided Weapons Systems. This opportunity came as she supported her partner’s military posting to the United Kingdom, underscoring her ability to balance academic and professional responsibilities effectively.

Michelle's return to Australia in 2023 saw her relocate to Melbourne while continuing to make significant contributions at Thales Australia. Her ability to manage her career alongside the demands of her partner’s military commitments demonstrates her resilience. At Thales Australia, Michelle plays an active role in developing and supporting key strategic initiatives, including the Reconciliation Action Plan.
