In the past 12 months, Ironside has delivered a program to Australia's Mining Sector that has seen over 100 veterans on-board at major resource organisations, making it the largest and most successful intake of veterans into the Australian sector.
Ironside, in consultation with Fortescues' senior leadership, developed a comprehensive strategy and framework for veteran entry points, including a skills alignment and development of accelerated training requirements. The training program was developed by Fortescue’s registered training organisation and all Ironside veteran candidates have been put this through this accelerated trade upskill program. They are now equipped with the certifications and qualification to work within the Australian mining industry and has resulted in a high retention rates and significant increases in workshop productivity gains.
Ironside has established employer networks and partnerships with clients across all industry sectors, Nationwide. Ironside supports veterans across all services and rank structures and placed in excess of 700 veterans into employment across Australia in various roles and has indirectly supported thousands more.
