As a veteran owned and operated business, BRAVO Electrical & HVAC is a speciality contractor which has been supporting defence prime contractors since 2018. In that time, BRAVO has used the skill set and work ethic of naval veterans to support multiple maintenance tasks across all major naval platforms.
Growing from two to 20 employees in the space of four years, BRAVO has achieved ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 certification and now has a permanent workforce in both NSW and WA.
Currently 81% of its workforce are naval veterans, both male and female. BRAVO has opened apprenticeship programs for veteran employees in both the refrigeration and electrical trades with some now qualified tradesman and others working toward qualification.
Their goals for the future are to continue providing workplace opportunities for veterans, and to maintain a veteran employment rate of 80% or more, while continuing to provide support and solutions for defence maintenance.
